Some people have an innate sense of style – whether reflected in looks, dress, personality or music. However, this artist has the ability to continually create an infectious Hip Hop Party with his trademark rap style that has earned him the reputation of being a leader, a mover and a hype lyricist; earning him the name Trend.

“I've been rapping for a few years,” Trend says. “But I used to only rap about the gangster lifestyle. However, I made a drastic change in my life when I got right with the Lord; and one of the first things to change was my music. The very same week that my life changed, my music changed and I've never looked back.”

According to Trend, you do not have to be a drug dealer or killer to be “cool.” When asked about his musical influences, he credits “basic life” as his daily dose of inspiration. “I'll observe life, things going on with me or things going on with people I know,” he says. “Then I take the reality of it all and write about it in my lyrics. And once I get started, the words and the music begin to flow and before long it's a wrap.” Trend is one of Birmingham 's newest signings with the ability to penetrate the fattest tracks with his catchy razor sharp lyrics.
